Best licorice I know of. I can't stop eating until the bag is empty. Mostly have to settle for some big deep breaths as I pass Darell Lea as I don't dare buy a bag unless I know I will have help eating it. Do not want to regain the 30 kg I have lost. (Posted on 30/01/12)

Lucky enough to find and try this from Trader Joe's in Virginia Beach, VA (USA). My wife and I easily finished 1 pound in 1 day...couldn't stay away from it. If my Dad was still with us he would say "this is what REAL liquorice taste like". (Posted on 16/12/11)

I'm not sure that it is entirely appropriate but for those of us with severe back pain this licorice is fantastic. Pain killers have some terrible side effects! I find taking 2-3 sticks of licorice with each dose of panadene forte overcomes majority of the constipation issues. (Posted on 7/11/11)

Grew up eating this Liquorice. Have tried a million other brands but none come close to Darrell Lea's. Luckily I live in Australia and don't have to travel far to get a fresh bag! (Posted on 19/08/11)

The black liquoirice is getting hard to find in Central Florida. I usually get it at 4 different stores, but they have been all out the past few weeks (Posted on 23/03/11)

found this at my local speedway (gas station) while tossing papers one night, I absolutely LOVE black licorice, so I grabbed a bag, it was gone before I finished my routes!! bought 2 more bags yesterday while out on my routes, one for me and one I was going to send to my mom, LOL well both are almost gone now and I will just have to get my mom another bag to try, absolutely the best licorice i have ever eaten (and I have been eating it for over 50 years its my favorite candy). if you love licorice get your hands on some of this it is amazing! First tasted Aussie liquorice in West Port, Washington (US) about 12 years ago from a candy shop owner who offered me a taste. No I am hooked! Darrell Lea brand is excellent! I am so glad I can buy it in Nashville, Tennessee. (Posted on 3/03/11)

Hope it is just a temporary problem, but in all of Brantford, Canada I can't get
Darrell Lea black liquorice. Happy me, friends from Down under are coming
in next week and I just placed an order. It is worth traveling for it. (Posted on 31/01/11)

If there were any reason why I would ever again endure the long plane ride to Australia, it would be to enjoy this licorice. My wife just made the trip, and bought me some upon her return. Sure wish we had decent licorice like this in the United States. I was first introduced to it as 3 foot-long ropes in the Darrell Lea stores during a visit to Australia in the 1970s. I carried one every day coiled up in my shirt pocket, and took a bite every so often. My best memory of Australia. (Posted on 21/01/11)
