Narelle's Chocolate Fudge Cake

  1. 250g Butter
  2. 1/2 Cup Milk
  3. 200g Darrell Lea Traditional Dark Chocolate
  4. 2 Cups Raw Sugar
  5. 1 1/2 Cups Self Raising Flour
  6. 1 Cup Plain Flour
  7. 1/4 Cup Cocoa Powder
  8. 2 Large Eggs
  1. 1. Sift flours and cocoa together
  2. 2. Combine butter, milk, chocolate and sugar in a saucepan or microwave safe bowl and melt. Set aside to cool slightly
  3. 3. Whisk eggs and add to flour
  4. 4. Add chocolate mixture and fold in until combined
  5. 5. Spoon into a greased and lined cake tin
  6. 6. Bake in oven at 180°C or 160° fan forced for 45-50 minutes or until a tested with skewer comes out clean and cake springs back at the touch
  7. 7. Cool and then decorate with frosting or ganache
