Darrell Lea's Delivery Terms & Conditions

  • Please allow at least 5 working days for earliest delivery of your purchase. While Darrell Lea will aim to deliver all orders on the requested dates, we cannot guarantee orders will not arrive slightly earlier or later.

    For Christmas 2011 - Orders must be received via fax/mail or processed online by the following dates to ensure delivery prior to Christmas.
    NORTH QLD, NT & TAS - Orders processed by 6pm AEST on 16th December, 2011.
    NSW, METRO QLD, VIC, SA & WA - Orders processed by 6pm AEST on 19th December, 2011.

  • Any order placed by you in the manner described on dlea.com.au is an offer by you to purchase a particular product for the price (including the delivery and other charges and taxes) specified on this website at the time you place your order.

  • The minimum order value online is $30 ex GST.

  • Darrell Lea does not offer exchanges or refunds for online purchases, and a substitution/exchange will be made in the event of damage during transit. Backorders are also not available in order to ensure product freshness and delivery efficiency.

  • Darrell Lea does not accept responsibility for weather induced damage on orders that have not been processed with Hot Weather Protection. To contact our customer service team regarding your order, please call 1300 368 745 during normal business hours.

  • Delivery cost is calculated based on the product weight of your purchases, with every 2.5kg incurring a $20.00 delivery cost for metropolitan areas. We strongly recommend hot weather protection (extra $10 per 2.5kg) to protect your purchases form the heat with the innovative Coldpack thermal-protection®

  • Hot Weather Protection - Coldpack thermal-protection® is an exclusive innovation made of an AirLiner, a fully flexible liner that insulates once inflated. It prevents your products from thermal shocks and controls the temperature from + 2 C to 8C. Perfect to ensure your Darrell Lea gifts arrive in excellent condition during the Australian weather conditions.

  • For Gift Card Orders only, a minimum freight charge of $4.95 applies for quantities under 20. For quantities greater than 20, a $16.50 freight charge will apply.

  • Freight charges apply to metropolitan deliveries only. Deliveries outside this area may incur additional charges for which you will be notified.

  • All prices are in $AUS and include GST.

  • Deliveries can only be made to addresses within Australia.

  • There is only one delivery address allowed per order (Multiple shipping addresses must be placed in different orders online/fax/mail etc).

  • Every effort will be made to ensure delivery within 5-7 working days, however please understand we cannot guarantee a specific time of delivery. Any changes in relation to delivery dates, replacement items etc, will be fully communicated.

  • Gift lines subject to availability, products not in stock may be substituted for an equal or similar product to ensure timely deliveries. This will be fully communicated prior to dispatch.

  • All care is taken to ensure all products are delivered in the quality way in which they were made, but as many of our products may be affected by extreme weather, it is recommended that hot weather protection is chosen to protect the product.

  • Corporate Discount will be automatically applied at Checkout. No further discounts apply.
